No licence

If you're a newly qualified driver it doesn't take much for you to lose you licence e.g. by getting caught twice by a safety camera.

If you do lose your licence be aware that driving without a licence is a serious offence. You could be imprisoned for up to 12 months, face a £5,000 fine and an additional 6 penalty points.

No insurance

Insurance may be expensive but driving an uninsured car may end up costing you a lot more in the long run. Apart from a fine of up to £5,000, you will also get 6-8 points on your licence which could lead to a driving ban.

Failing to get an MOT on your vehicle could cost you up to a £1,000 fine.
